A principal designer, up the hill.

Sleepy Hollow Studio is Brian Dils. Twenty years of design at PayPal, Adobe, Salesforce and Okta, now pointed at Main Street.

A brick studio at dusk. Tall arched windows look out over a wide river and a wooded ridge. One lamp is lit above a drafting table covered in drawings and material samples.

Brian

Brian Dils is a principal designer. He spent twenty years at PayPal, Adobe, Salesforce and Okta, and he lives in Tarrytown. The studio is him. He walks in, he does the work, and he is the one who answers.

The process

AI tools do the exploration. A principal designer makes the calls. That is how three directions arrive within a week of the first visit, shown on your real storefront, and how a complete engagement goes live in weeks. It is agency work without the agency: no account managers, no handoffs, no waiting.

  1. Walk the shop

One visit, in person, to see the storefront, the sign, the menu and the competition up the street.

  2. Draft in days

Three directions within the week, shown on your real storefront, not on a white page.

  3. Install and adjust

Files to the printer, the sign vendor briefed, the site live, and thirty days of small fixes after.

A note on the mark

Three ways to set the name. The dot of the i is a lantern, and it is the only color the studio uses.

  • Stacked. For signs and the site.

  • The monogram. For stamps, avatars and embroidery.

  • One line, with the town. For everything else.

Tell us about the place.

We will come see it.
